The Integrative Approach to Gastrointestinal Health

Identify Offenders

Whether food sensitivities, chronic inflammatory cycles, or microbes, thorough and complete gut testing helps us find the root cause of gastrointestinal symptoms. We often rely on breath testing (SIBO and H pylori), stool testing (functional GI analysis, microbiome), and urine metabolites (organic acids) to drill down into a comprehensive understanding of underlying causes to digestive imbalance.

Remove Pathogens

Whether there is an unhealthy balance of the "right" type of bugs or overgrowth of the "wrong" type of bugs, some form of antimicrobial treatment is often necessary to bring the gut back into balance. Through a combination of nutraceuticals, botanical extracts, and pharmaceutical medications, we can eradicate pathogenic bacteria, yeast/candida, and/or parasiates.

Restore Function

Long term inflammation in the digestive tract results in leaky gut, which results in both malabsorption of key nutrients but also impaired protection against substances that would otherwise be unable to enter into circulation. Healing the gut lining, restoring proper microbial balance, and supporting digestive function, and movement/motility are critical for prevention.
