The Integative Approach to Neurology

Nutritional Strategies
for Neuroprotection

Through clinical evidence and our observational research studies tracking patients with PD and MS we know what supplements and dietary choices are associated with the slowest rates of progression and least severe symptoms.

Laboratory Testing

Customized laboratory testing for PD, MS, and dementias evaluate common deficiencies and weaknesses that once corrected lead to less severe symptoms and improved quality of life. In addition to routine bloodwork that evaluates blood cells and metabolic health, we also look at markers of inflammation, oxidative stress, nutrient status, biologic age, detoxification capacity, hormones, and more.

Medication Management

Many patients come to see us not fully educated on how to take their medications, or are not taking the best medication or appropriate strength or frequency. We work alongside Movement Disorders Specialists and Neurologists to maximize your meds and streamline all medications and supplements to ensure the most cost-effective and potent mix of interventions is being utilized for treatment.

Gut & Environmental
Factors

At the root cause of most neurodegenerative conditions is underlying gut inflammation (often SIBO) and/or environmental toxicity. Evaluating and treating these imbalances has profound effects on disease progression. We often start with a hair test as an inexpensive screening tool to determine metal toxicities and digestive health. If abnormalities are found we proceed with stool and breath testing for gut health, if indicated; and additional blood and urine tests to evaluate for toxins and how best to remove them.
